Privacy Policy

Agent Notch is made by Aditya Arya, an individual developer based in India ("I", "me"). This page explains what data the app and this website handle. The short version: the app runs on your computer, I don't run a server for it, and I never see your AI accounts or your code.

What the app reads on your computer

To show your usage, Agent Notch reads the same local files and sign-in details that each AI coding tool (such as Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI) already keeps on your machine. It uses them only to ask that tool's own provider for your current usage and limits, the same way the tool itself does. These requests go straight from your computer to the provider. Nothing is sent to me.

The app also looks at which of these tools are running, so it can show which agents are active and, in Pro, bring the right terminal to the front. This stays on your computer.

Agent Notch Pro and your license

Payments and licenses are handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. When you buy Pro, Dodo Payments collects your name, email, billing details and payment information under its own privacy policy. I receive your name, email and order details from Dodo Payments so I can support you. I never see your full card details.

When you activate Pro, the app sends your license key and your computer's name to Dodo Payments to register that device. After that, it checks the license about once a day. No usage data, file contents or code are sent.

This website

This site uses Umami for privacy-friendly visit counts. It does not use cookies or track you across other sites. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs.

What I don't do

• I don't sell or rent your data.
• I don't collect your prompts, code or AI conversations.
• I don't add advertising trackers to the app or the site.

Keeping and deleting data

I keep order and license records only as long as needed to provide Pro, handle refunds and meet tax and legal requirements. To see or delete what I hold about you, email adityaryawork@gmail.com. Data held by Dodo Payments is covered by its own policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
